Is anyone else having problems getting onto the forum on sunday evenings? I tried for two hours last night but just kept getting told that the link was broken. Is it that the site is over run after matches? Dammed frustrating. I see Andrew is getting to grips with big screen now. It looked great yeaterday with the new graphics and even an attendance. Well done.

I think Michael Ward was responsible for the 'in house' screen soreboard graphics, well done MICHAEL they looked the biz. But mujst say the outside screens 'black' graphics are certainly striking.

The site has gone to crap again - capacity issues. The number of visits here just keeps increasing - as do our costs.

Glad people liked the scoreboard designs - there should be plenty more to come on that front. Both screens do look fantastic with darker images on them. They bcome very striking. White stuff is too bright and becomes overwhelmed with the brightness of the screen.

The scoreboard looked superb, like said the H/T draw number and attendance, great additions, well done to all concerned.



Will we be having a photo of the try scorer next?

Progress can & has been made,the showing of the attendance & the halftime draw winning number on the scoreboard is proof of this,well done to all concerned.

Sorry to sound a note of disagreement about the scoreboard.

Firstly, it does look superb and very professional.

But....lots of fans around me were grumbling that it gives less information than the old one at Hilton Park. No details of tries, goals and drop goals.

Could we not have scorers of the last tries and goals ( would have been hard to keep up yesterday!). Maybe these things will be possible as the 'team' learn how to use it even better.

CAN WE HAVE A BIGGER SCREEN THEN



If I want to look at something resembling a modern cricket scoreboard, I'd watch cricket

this scoreboard and whoever operates it is absolutely magnificent, I can remember the old one at the B&Q end of the old ground which used to read Leigh and Visitors. when that old guy used to hang up the numbers on the hooks with a long pole.Ill tell you if any of those metal numbers had fallen on somebody it would have killed em stone dead, isnt progress wonderful

I was going to say that. You could have all that info on our big screen but it would be that small to fit it all on you wouldn't be able to read it.

Would be interested to know what info is on screens at other new grounds e.g Widnes, Halliwell-Jones etc -anyone know?

We're trying to make the scoreboard as useful as possible, but we want it to be clear and easy to understand.

We're not going to make the screen do what [ieveryone [/iwould like, but we're going to take some time to experiment with different formats and find out what's best.

There's a lot of infrastructure to build and we're only at the beginning of the process. It's going to take some time to get to where we want to be with it, but we're making solid progress.

Scoreboard Graphics are superb. Might be nice to have a clock up there.
If you are in the West Stand not always easy to see the one there.

Does anyone else in british RL have a scoreboard as good as ours? Save when Sky has the big screen up.

Can the screen show photographs ? Would be useful when team is read out or just go through team on scoreboard, for newbies etc

not as easy as you would think Im sre even the change in the graphics took Michael some time to do and theres still the missing 'bit' of hardware to do it with (or ws that for video?)

I thought it looked great on Sunday but I do think a clock would improve it even more.

At least it can be done somewhere down the line......for one moment I thought LSV had invested in an over price flashy scoreboard that HP scoreboard could have competed with (info wise)

Them photos have been put in using photo editing software.


Once the screen is at full pelt it will look great and be informative I'm sure.

We've got plenty of plans - but it's not as easy to get these things done as it should be, and from some respects we have to start from scratch with our own software to make it look and work as smoothly as we would like.

Thanks for the positive comments, and I'll take suggestions on board. i agree that the west stand clock is difficult for those in the west stand to see - it's a shame they didn't put it in the east stand.

Isn't there a 'spare' clock ticking around
