Gatehead wont go down after winning yesterday, cant see us winning again going off recent performances. hope they prove me wrong.

Unless we play like we did against Sheffield were down Gateshead will put 50 past us and if were lucky we may get a couple of bonus points but methinks is not enough.

It looks like toulouse are suffering a bit and we know they don't travel well.

I think we will beat toulouse next week, lose at gateshead but then will beat Whitehaven last game to stay up.

You need to beat Toulouse at home, they can be beaten if you throw the ball around but by the sounds of it you dont so it will be a slog up the middle which they will win.

Methinks a "carrot" in a large brown envelope is needed for every game till the end of the season. There needs to be an incentive for this team to be motivated now. Desperation stakes I'm afraid otherwise it'll cost a lot more in lost revenue next season.

Yesterday's result wasn't good, but we are still a point in front of Gateshead, with a game in hand. Our chances of playing well up there, will hopefully improve soon.

Our destiny still is, and always has been, in our hands. If we play as poorly as we have been doing, there's no chance. However, if we play as well as we did against Widnes, and Sheffield, and in the first half against Barrow, then it can be a different story.

The games in bold i think are the games that will be won, it doesnt look great for Leigh and IMO it will come down to your final game of the season.

We are where we are and now a win at Gateshead is a must.There isn,t much point in saying what we have done wrong.


In the unlikely event I was picking the backs for that match I,d start with Donlan fullback, wingers Stanton and Dollin centres Higson and Nanyn halfbacks Hemingway and Watson.

Forwards I,d look at our squad for the best 6 tacklers.

The 'funny' results started a few weeks ago when Gateshead beat Fax and Batley beat Barrow on the same day, this has been followed by the drawn game between Gateshead and Batley. The day above when Gateshead and Batley beat the top two was the day our fate was effectively sealed IMO.

True that it's good to have one less team in the race for SL (better stadium than ourselves and Widnes so definately rivals) But I think you'll find most heartland club fans will be sad to see Leigh go down, a traditional club that, like Fax, get no favours from the RFL. If Fax cant get to SL, would I prefer Tolouse or Leigh to get a spot... No doubt about it...

What a load of tosh, Fax and other clubs would most certainly not want to see you go down as you bring atmosphere and fans.
I really cannot understand why you think the publicity surrounding Robbie was a cock up as the rest of the league would be quaking they may go down .Come on Paul was turned down by Fax weeks ago likewise other clubs he aproached turned him down.
I hardly think he will make a vast differance to you next year. Talk of him takeing an ambassador role as well ? surely what you need to spend money on is darn good players. Millward himself and Murphy are good enough ambassadors for any club you don`t need to pay anyone else just to massage his own ego.

As someone says above if we go down its because we have been and deserve too. CERTAINLY NOT because teams want us out of this league!!
