You can't budget for tickets until you know who your playing and when, unfortunately its now a waiting game out of ours and leighs hand now down to RFL

Yet Gateshead have gone ahead with theirs ,do they know something we dont.

Gateshead season tickets have been announced in the hope of retaining their status ( but that now being in Championship 1) and no doubt to impress the RFL at the meeting they have with them. At the prices they are being offered that would seem to be the case.

No they just desperatley need some cash to get the new co up and running

They actually state in the season ticket press release, they will be valid for 9 or 10 games

How long can the club afford to wait on this (afterall the RFL still havn't said what's Celtics punishment is many months down the line, are we to expect a quick answer on whats happening re: Gateshead

The 'season' as such is still ongoing and people are talking about RL as they are seeing it on TV.
In a few weeks people will be spending money on Christmas as the main priority switches.

Hopefully the club will have a cutoff date regardless of what Red Hall does or says.

In terms of Gateshead, sad to see them in such a mess but like Celtic it just didn't add up how they can stay going on poor gates paying lots of money out on overseas players (some of them of considerable quality), hopefully they'll pull through as despite what many think I don't think Gateshead could ever be described as a 'darling club' of Lewis or the RFL after the way they got treated last time out.

the club expect an answer within the next 2 weeks, then i reckon they will set season ticket prices and announce it.

Moving around the area with frequent changing names has proven not to help you get support in , its taken Quins a long time to get some stability, surely not helped by the nomadic existance and seasonal name changes they had.

Wouldn't expect the prices to be that much different TBH

We would have 1 more home game in the Championship rather than Championship 1, so prices for season tickets would be different.

Simple solution is to sell them based on the number of fixtures in Champs 1 and if we get put back in Championship have one match that is all to pay.

All depending on what the RFL decide to do , they might well decide to go with 10 in the Championship next year

If they technically deduct 9 points from 2009, then Gatehead are down, simple as that.

If not, they stay in in the championship on minus nine with Leigh in C2 !

If the RFL try to relegate 3 clubs, I fear they may be in hot water !

No they can't! The rules as agreed by the clubs states 2 down, 2 up. If Gateshead are 'relegated' then they are breaking the rules. If Gateshead are classed as a 'new' club and forced to start in C2 then that's a different matter. If there is to be a change in the make up of the league the clubs have to agree to it.

Think that will be the case.

The only thing in our favour will be the championship chairmen wanting our travelling fans. We should also not announce the 4 NRL stars with Welsh grandparents until after we are voted back in to the Championship

Get Real. Do you honestly think it makes a difference what league we're in as to the price of the season tickets. It'll be the same price whichever. LSV will see too that. Honestly some of you lot don't half live in a dream.

The price depends on the number of home games we have and seeing as we don't yet know which division we're in we also don't know how many games we'll be playing. We can't quote a price for something if we don't know what we're charging for.
