To brighten up your sunday morning and under the guidance of Jonny I thought a poll was in order! I put it to some Leythers about me being the drum man at home games next season, all of them said no but surely someone will say yes!! whats your thoughts?..............

You'll have to find a new wingman if you bring a drum.

Anybody taking a drum anywhere near a rugby ground should be

on sight. Unless they're part of the pre-match entertainment.

How about a nice clarenette or sax.

not sure on this one ,but for certain every other teams drummer gets on my bloody nerves, so maybe we should have our own to get some of our own back.

Well we should put him or her in a protective suit and sit them in with the opposing fans.

if you stuck a drum in the west stand or the corner of the north stand i could probably get used to that but no way could i get used to a drum behind the sticks weere i stand.

I was near the drum at reebok once and I felt like smashing the drum over the guys head and sticking the sticks where the sun doesn't shine after only a few minutes (and I'm not a violent man)

I think if the club gets the opportunity to open the south or east stand for kids and families then a drum could go down really well there.

We do need more people to join us in the North Stand though and we could be even louder.

we should send tickets out to away clubs to be sold at any price the club want to sell them at,say a fiver,the traval costs would be covered by the redution in ticket cost then,so that should increase away support.
Let the away club keep the money made.
Obviously it would need to work the other way as well.

i think it would be a good idea to have a drummer, it would wake all the fans up and get them cheering our team on.ive never seen such a boring lot of fans at a ground like the lot in the west stand ,come on you leythers lets hear you sing for your team
