Injured or not he's missed out big time this season, led to us getting Hood who has certainly not let us down when it mattered

It was weird, don't ever recall reading any 'official updates/news' on his (so called) injury.

Big credit to Andrew Dixon & Greg Worthington who have both never shirked a shift or a hard tackle, this I feel sets them apart.

Well something happened. Was it about the same time that Riddy was having a problem also? I don't know but all I can say that Bob wore the Leigh shirt with pride and I'd like to wish him well. We move onwards and definitely upwards.

We got good value from Bob in previous seasons, I wish him well.

Whatever it was that happened was long before Ridys 'problems'. Ridy sorted himself out and has admitted in hindsight that being dropped was the best thing that could have happened. Let's hope (or maybe not) Kay, Pownall, Beswick and Emmitt (?) have more luck with promotion than they did in 2015. Credit to Worthy and Dixon for giving 100% for the team to the end.

Worthington, Armstrong, Dixon, Spencer etc. have left as absolute pro's.

Gave everything in every game right to the end and have been a credit to the badge and the town.

A shame that not everyone can be such a pro.

Of all the ones to leave though the only one I find a genuine disappointment is Worthington. That lad should be coming with us to Wigan and Hull. Not going to Gloucester and Oxford with Toronto in front of 80 fans. Complete waste of his talents.

Don't you create your own path in life Noz? What's to say Worthy won't be back in SL at some point.

Last saw Bob at the Oldham game.
Last I heard was that someone saw him in a wheelchair (and I have no reason to doubt they weren't telling the truth).

The man pulled 80 minute matches week after week and I wish him well.

Well I remember him being at the club early on in the season. You really want to be careful with 'misinformation' or should that be mishinformation. Either way if he was suspended and he felt it was unfair is he taking the club to court?

Why don't you ask him? I don't know any more details I just know that he was suspended.

A genuine question for you Mish. If he was suspended from the club how come he did some work on the market stall and also go training in Chorley with them in July/August.

Are you sure about that Mish? I heard it was various sick notes but after so long the club didn't have to pay him so he returned to be put out to the market stall, it's amazing how different story's go around

Pity how it ended he was brilliant up to last years play offs
