Anyone know if Fevs offer is going to suffer the same fate, following pressure from its 1000 ST holders or hasn't there been any

It will probably work at fev, bar and food sales go straight to them. They jut need to attract more away fans than last year

Trying new ideas is indeed to be applauded - the lack of thought behind this idea however is not.

Fair play to all concerned for pulling this before it bust us.

Personally think it's a shame that this wasn't given much of a chance to see the effect, be it positive or negative (especially as only approximately a third of the Batley fans the other week got cheap admission via the offer). Still, well done to the club for reacting to the situation and hopefully the thousands staying away because of the offer will now return. I wait with baited breath.

I think we should return the favour to Fev when they visit us though, but pulling the offer is probably the sensible decision.

Does anyone know how many took the offer from another club when you played batley ?
If as a club you can not afford it what do people think if all clubs agreed to do this offer next season regarding the sales of your season tickets do you think they would sell more or not and does anyone think it would increase away support

I think it would certainly help season ticket sales if it became a factor league-wide, although maybe it should only apply for the two teams involved in that game rather than SL clubs etc?

The Batley game had 50 Batley season ticket holders (out of approximately 150ish away fans) and 3/4 apiece from Wigan, Saints, Salford, Warrington and Widnes.

Salford have just revealed a set of familly tickets with a familly of four for £40 ( two adults, two juniors), 1 x adult & 2 x juniors £30, 1 adult & 1 junior £25. Not bad. Maybe ST the offer could just be open to fans of none combatants.

We need to look at ways to get more fans in, cut price family tickets, or 5 match ticket books with a discount for commiting to 5 games

No pressure whatsoever. Almost universally accepted as a positive incentive amongst fev supporters. I haven't yet read or heard any dessenting comments.

Find it strange how two sets of fans can react in such different ways.

Fev targeted season tickets, Leigh targeted walk up, so more Leigh fans are expected to pay on the day and as a result resent watching others get in cheaper imo

Possibly the ' offer ' is, but the price of each clubs ST s is different and the potential return on it is also very different

How much is a Leigh ST?

North Stand adult £150 concessions £80. West stand £170 and £90.

So the diff in the price of a ST is £5?
So how is the potential return going to be so drastically different to shelf the idea after a week??
