So after a week off back to rugby & away from the conspiracies (I live in hope) again this weekend. You could call Oldham one of the surprises of the league if there weren't so many surprise results this year. Wins against Featherstone, Sheffield & Batley mean we should expect a tough game. Really hope we can kick on & play for 80 min this week, if we again try to do just enough Oldham will be going for a massive upset & based on the form of both teams is very possible. Of course if we play at our best we should be easily good enough.

Depends which way you play first half. The slope is wicked. Oldham know how to play it, and if you're playing the "wrong" way 2nd half you could come unstuck!

You should have enough to see them off, but beware if you're not concentrating...

Oldham are an up and down side but the list of teams beaten is quite impressive and any team that has just been away to Hull KR and given them a spanking will certainly be up for giving us a game.

What about Armstrong and Tonga?I've heard Tonga is now fit again.

Both Swinton and Oldham have surprised a few people this season and that's been fantastic. I hope they both manage to stay up.

Local matches, especially away, will be tough and unless Leigh are "at it" come the weekend then it might turn out to be a long afternoon for some of our players.

No prediction from me.

In my team prediction Charlie I've rested Tom,like to see how Kay would go with Whiting next to him.Not sure on Tonga,heard he was back in training,but I've left him out as I'm not sure about his fitness level, being out so long.IMO of course.

If we play as we can, it should be a comfortable win, but that is a big IF ,Oldham must be full of confidence after their recent results , but I'm going for a score of Oldham 18 v Leigh 34 ,hopefully good weather, I'm not sure what the pitch will be like , but let's get behind the lads and keep that top spot.

I don't believe we can afford to play the way we did against them at home earlier in the season.

Remembering the pattern of that game, it was a sign of how our season has gone, except it had more attacking flair than other matches but still had incredible defensive brainfarts.

I have a lot of time and respect for Oldham but Sunday is a game that we really need to stamp on them and put our stamp on the league as to what exactly how we can play like come the Middle 8s.

I totally agree ant & as a proud Mancunian I would love both Swinton & Oldham to kick on, do well & comfortably retain their Championship status being two of our Greater Manchester neighbours.

I think that the teams Oldham have defeated have turned up already having won the game. Big mistake. Having already played them once I think that we are better prepared. It will be tough make no mistake but I think we will snatch it.

Well if we don't win comfortably we have little chance in the middle eights.

Doesn't Cory have to have two weeks off with the concusion rules. If you have so many then you have to rest.

Very physical side, I went to the cup match last week, first 20 we couldn't get any decent possession and they kept coming at us, fitness told in the end, on a side note lovely back drop around the ground.

Great ground Bower Fold, looking forward to watching my first RL game there (hope the slope doesn't affect us!).
