Now it’s Asiata's turn to be linked with the nrl. Apparently three clubs interested, but none named only 2from NSW and 1 Queensland. The journos have had a go at Lochlan and Edwin, now John, who’s next. It’s good that they are being looked at as they are playing so well in this team, but it can be unsettling and could disrupt the team as we plan for semi final and play offs.
Wasn't Asiata hounded out of Stralia? Guess it's (as Basil Fawlty declaims in a certain infamous episode - the only one not bought by German Fernsehen) "All friends now eh!"
Asiata will still be at Leigh next season. He doesn't appear to me as a bloke who would walk away from a club that gave him back his love for rugby when the Aussies didn't want him because he refused the jibberjabber. All paper talk clickbait.
