Frankie Halton inbound. Great signing which gives us more depth in a problem area for us. Not convinced we will see much of Hughes or Wardle this season.

The message clearly coming from Lam in his interviews recently is that he is fairly optimistic that new contract negotiations with O'Donnell will be concluded and that he will re-sign.

I am with Septi here. I do not think Halton's signing is a prelude to O'Donnell leaving. It is more like boosting the squad in a specific position where we are currently short of numbers.

My reading of the Trout reports in the Yorkshire press is that he has signed for Leigh despite the injury. If so, then it is certainly a shame about the potential extent of his injury and the length of time that he is likely to be out of action

Halton is an excellent signing. Being a Leigh lad, he will play his heart out for Leigh. Well done.

I like the Halton signing and am reasonably confident that Kai will be a Leyther for a few seasons yet.
