| Quote ="WYSIWYG2"There is expensive, Maurice and then there is taking the p155. LSV charging £5 for a bottle of lager and whoever sets the £5 programme price and the £24 senior admission price is taking the p155. If people are daft enough to pay it that's up to them. I can't afford it nor can I afford the season ticket price so choose not to. Seniors should definitely get a cheaper concession.'"
If you don’t have a pot to wee wee in then expensive is a different number to many others more well off. Our pricing is about right until we get a central contract of about £5m, also many retired folk have greater disposable than a young family. Thankfully many folk want a RL club so choose to spend their disposable accordingly, can’t understand why fans take a pop at others keeping their club alive for them though. Have a look at a V1 on Saturday afternoon, kids living with parents for far longer and the 50+ living with little or no mortgage. The 30-40 with kids are the age being squeezed

| Quote ="Leeds_Luke"So the cheapest season ticket is £300, and the most expensive is £1200?
Wow. Most expensive in the league by a longshot then. Are they delusional?'"
I did the same survey a few weeks ago with the same results. We are the most expensive, along with your team Leeds for seniors. They priced me out, Luke, and I've supported them through thick and thin since the 60s. £24 for a senior concession standing. Disgusting. Kids concessions are excellent though, but I do wonder how many more have been priced out and it will be difficult to attract new supporters in large numbers who have to pay the full price.

| £20 monthly membership gets a pensioner every home league game. Not a bad deal IMO, and easily the best way to pay for entry.

| I'm currently unemployed on UC and I've made a membership my first priority after living costs. It's the only 'luxury' I can (barely) afford. I don't drink, I can't afford to socialise except at matches. My Dad has recently gone on State Pension with no additional income and he's got a £5/month cheaper membership as well a substantially higher income than I do, and he is helping me with the cost.
It's tough for a lot of people, I know that from firsthand experience, but a couple of quid here or there is not likely to make going to the game much more feasible, especially with the prices of everything going up so frequently. If £2 or £3 makes the difference then you're not likely to be able to afford to go in a month or two anyway.
It's a horrible reality, but this country is currently a mess, prioritising corporate greed over supporting those who really need it and far too many people are in desperate hardship.

At a time where the sport is actively looking to grow it's fanbase, it seems very shortsighted to be pricing fans out of the market. Especially when RL has always been a working class sport. I suppose the attendances figures going forward will show accurate the pricing is.
I'm surprised you found Leeds to be at the top of the pile for ticket pricing. I thought they were middle of the road price wise. This article would put us in the middle of the pack, and my season ticket (Adult South Stand Terrace) is lower than the quoted price, at £233.

How many months is that over though? If it is over 12, as some have suggested, that makes it £240 (more than my non-concession season ticket) which equates to £18.5 per home game. That's still more than some grounds match day concession prices. Miss three games, and you are at the gate price at Leigh anyway.
The RFL/IMG need to bring back regulation of ticket prices. I know not all clubs have an equal amount of match day expenses, but when you get long time fans being priced out of watching games something is wrong.
