Quote ="Bent&Bongser"Bongser does not have Premier either and so is yet to see anything of the Fev match and therefore anything below is merely a summary of the author's musings.
Voiced a bad feeling about tonight whilst at work today - and, for once, that foreboding was correct. Charlie posted (on an unrelated thread) that the pitch and conditions were poor. Surprise, surprise! (as Cilla Black posted on an unrelated thread). Many of the imports (and they are several) will not have experienced the like before, but the Summer and the greensward carpet at LSV await. Very different!
Well done to Fev this time round.
Bongser refers readers to an LCTV interview with Lam on the day of his announcement wherein DB states that he does not expect a new squad to wholly gel at first.
Early doors. Bongser will be there for the Bulls game.

Bongser , I’m not to upset at the result , I know the pitch was the same for both teams , but home advantage is exactly what that means , we had 11 men at one stage , and in the second half played well , we just couldn’t handle the wet conditions .
Things will change , bring in a couple more players , Reynolds isn’t working at 6 , Dixon had a nightmare game , but sometimes that happens , I’m not blaming him , for me Mellor played well , Hingano did when he came on , and Nene McDonald was a monster again , I thought Aekins was a bit nervous under the high ball , but again the conditions didn’t help , everyone tried , I’m upbeat , a win next week and we are back on track , get Sidlow back , Ipape playing , and hopefully sign Gelling , and it’s happy days , don’t worry Bongser, I may go out tomorrow if I can borrow a coat to wear .
