For those that don't know Fred is my Dad. He knows so many people who follow Leigh from when he used to be an agent for the lifeline, he used to collect both sides of Warrington Rd from Butts Bridge to the Greyhound, Chapple St and Leigh town centre. He literally bought in thousands for the club, before his health stopped him from being able to collect . This week he was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia (it's a horrible condition), so if people haven't seen him for a while watching Leigh or around Leigh it's because of his health. Having said all that a lot of the time he is his normal self and still keeps tabs on Leigh.

That is sad news about your Dad. Cherish the good days that come and the great memories. Nobody and nothing can take them away. I will raise a glass to your Dad and mine in Toronto. Some of the best days of my life were with my Dad at Leigh games. Sport is taken too seriously sometimes but it does have a way of bringing people together.
