The ref was adequate for the one sided game, that is not disrespecting Sheffield who played some good stuff at times. However his 10 metres was poor and there were numerous forward passes missed amongst Leigh’s try fest. Acton was miffed at having a try correctly disallowed and had a brain fart. More petulant than dangerous, fine or one match.

Wasn't his card for a 'canonball' tackle though? That will probably be seen as dangerous? And what are forward passes - I thought they'd been written out of the laws of the game, ages ago?

For two of the forward passes the TJ was directly in line and chose to ignore them, so you could be correct.
