It has been clear since the season began that we simply are not willing to aggressively defend our own try line. We can't protect errors we make during a game with good defence on the oppositions' next set. It seems to be that more often than not they score in that set of six. Harrison Hansen mentioned lack of pride in defending our line in his MOM speech last week. Nothing has changed for the better.
Derek went on record before the start of the season saying that this team was better than last years'. I'll give you this Derek, you are a damn good salesman because all of us who bought season tickets have been fooled.

And in the years preceding those 11 - when you won the league, was it four times? How many times did you hammer us, in those four years? We seemed to be forever travelling over to POR, and getting tonked!

Some folk are just plain greedy. Take the Fax fan I was talking to at the end of Sunday's game. I had complimented stand off Scott Murrell's master class, in how to totally run a game and not even be touched by an opposing player (just like Riddy, the week before) and he replied that was all well and good, but they needed a scrum half!! At the moment, I'd happily settle for ONE dominant half back, and they want TWO!!

I've just had a read through last night's musings on this forum.... I may re-adjust my predictions.
