Lost revenue from Saturdays game v lost SL funding, obviously a gamble but well worth taking, if it were put to the fans and they were willing to put an extra £20 on next years seasons ticket that could reap most if the money back, no brainer, are you listenening Mr Beaumont.
Freebies wouldn't be an option though, would it? Its a shared gate. Our opponents would want compensating as well. Who would pay that.
For me best option is agree £10 entry. reasonable price for a important game. Though as I have said on previous thread, this qualifiers format is a bit complicated for the average Joe that doesn't follow the game to understand. We are essentially in MPG because of finishing 4th (or should do now), because we wasn't good enough to finish in top 3 - so a difficult sell to the town and area apart from pushing SL survival message.
