Pathetic thread having a go at West Stand for not being as loud as the North Stand. A high percentage of the West Stand kept this club going through the dark days of crowds just over 1000 at some games. These are life time fans many retired who just because they don't sing are every bit as dedicated to the club and more so than the majority of the North Stand.
I do stand in the North Stand now but for years took my Dad to every game home and away and sat in the West Stand where we always sat near the opposing fans and we had some hum dinger arguments with them over the years, if you want atmosphere I suggest you sit in the block next the the away section.

I agree with this 100%, I'm also a West Stander and don't sing or very rarely shout,I have done in my youth though,I prefer to sit down these days as my legs are shot at.I'm not even going to get into the Who is the BEST fan debate, I prefer just being an also ran,it's easier.

Totally agree, always preferred watching the game from the side did my owd man, so it was TS stand to West stand when we moved to LSV for us. After his passing I found it very difficult to go in the West and as the Kids were older got NS season tickets and rough it with the reprobates from the family now. When in a box the WS is pretty atmospheric though in supporting the team, its just different but the real question will be what the East stand will be like in SL, as that's where most non Season ticket holders will end up.
