Done some checking back Charlie & all the stats suggest that I am wrong ....
Danny Halliwel did score a hat trick in Super League X at [iThe Colliseum[/i *remember that name* against Saints in a narrow defeat.
No hat tricks in the game v Wigan but we scored the 1st 3 tries (1 from Phil Jones) before going down to another narrow defeat before a crowd of just over 7,500.
IIRC we had to play Leeds 3 times in Super League X, never stood a cat in Hell's chance that year.
Bradford romped it home with big Leslie Vainikolo.

Trouble was, charlie, by the time we had won the GF, there was no talent left. We had better players lined up (whose names totally escape me) but we were outbid by London, for 3-4 of them. I remember that we had loads of SL shirts left at the end of that season. many of them were 7XL (yes, 7!!) I believe they had been purchased with Mr McCurrie in mind!  |

My memory of the Wigan game at Hilton Park was we started well then it went downhill when Rowley went off.
