Quote ="glow"Are you NJ?
great guess
Only Foster out who I though had a great game, strong in defence for his size and hopefully will learn a lot this season under Highams guidance.
Smith had a good debut and showed that we won’t hopefully miss McNally as much as first feared.
Hanson showing his class, Hoppy has had a great start to the season, and Higham is just so reliable and consistent.
Was a little disappointed that Armstrong had to play as long as he did when clearly injured, why didn’t we move Hanson to centre, until Riddy was ready to come back on?
I think Riddy maybe rested next week against London, but if so then I hope that Patterson plays as neither Chase or Kez can lead us around the park like Riddy does.'"
I could be, this coaching lark is easy!
Agree with you on everything there apart from Foster. I'm impressed by how he's bulked up which was my main concern about him last season but I thought he showed his inexperience & made a few silly mistakes. Think like Reynolds he's a really exciting prospect for the future but needs to spend a season out on loan getting experience playing every week before he can make an impact in our first team.
I'm a big McNally fan but it's going to be very interesting when he becomes fit again who gets that number 1 jersey.
I got some stick for saying I'd drop Brierley this week but I think it was the right thing to do. However with Ridy's knock & how we seemed to be lacking someone running along side the player with the ball, ready to take the offload, I'd drop Ridy & play Ryan next week. Think Rangi has been playing excellently & this will give us chance to see how each combination works before going to Odsal.
