Quote I want to be entertained. If I feel I can get better value for my entertainment I will choose that option. The last time I checked we were a country that has a free market economy.'"
OK, but Leigh Centurions are not a multi-national company with bags of cash to spare. Choose to watch if you feel the entertainment is worth the price. If you don't, then don't watch. That's a perfectly fair choice to have to make.
However, any fan who could have made the game but chooses instead to pay Wigan £4 to watch have directly and deliberately screwed our club out of money. Cite free market policy at me all day, but it doesn't excuse us from the moral consequences of our actions.
Of course, for anyone who genuinely can't make the game - put £4 in the pockets of the pie eaters and watch live if you're comfortable with the idea.
