It'll be more difficult for fev on a Friday night with the journey from Yorkshire after work. I'd prefer a Friday or Saturday. I guess the bod will look at which day is best for the players & which is likely to attract the biggest crowd. Are there are big football games on the Sunday?

Cherry and White wants to look up some of our attendances on a Friday night over recent years and he will find that they are truly abysmal.

He will also find a Friday night fixture was the occasion for a shocking sub 1000 gate this season as well. I firmly believe that was the final nail in the coffin for Friday night rugby down at Leigh RLFC

Saturday evenings are worth a shot though I have to admit.
