That is a great idea especially if all tickets can be used at one time.

If people have had a couple of pints and their mate has one of these I could see people being talked into going

DD shouldn't be a problem and monthly payments make it affordable

I know they shouldnt be, but they have been with people cancelling them mid season and it not being checked, just saying like

Spot on, I was speaking to a bloke last Tuesday who hasn't been to a game this year. He said that he didn't buy a ST due him often working Sundays and that as a result it is easier to make excuses and agree to do other things etc. With something like what is proposed here he would have still put money into the club at the start of the year and be guaranteed to go to x many games.

When I was trying to keep tabs on DD payments for season tickets, in the 'good old days' before SL, the banks were actually responsible for more foul ups than people cancelling. Have you ever tried to get information out of a bank?

Seriously though, the aim has to be to relieve people of their 'hard-earned' in any way they are willing to part with it.
