I think the bunching last night was due to using 5 ball running forwards and not a ball handling forward. all the runners wanted the ball off the first man or dummy half and then with the 6 and 7 that leads to 7 players around the play the ball.
I realise that in his head Bibey beleives he is the biggest stand off in rugby, but his strength is go forward and the handling is useful as a suprise tactic when in the lead.
What hopefully the team will do to rectify this is Ridyard 6 Brierley 7 Duffy 9 Beswick 13. Add McNally at full back and thats 5 players who can use the ball spread accross the field giving options and hopefully width.
Reason I left Beswick out was that I think he is carrying an injury but if he isn't then replace him with Duffs who I think got hurt yesterday. Fingers crossed on TG.
Can't have JT being MOM as when I offered him a chocolate mini egg after the game he took all I had in my hand and stuffed them in his mouth. But he probably deserved MOM. Two more matches and JT will be back to his best me thinks.
