I'm pretty sure the Govin rumour is the one I heard at the start of the week about 'a Leigh player' - and I'm the other side of the country.
If it is, then yes it would be a waste of a career.
If not, then I suspect it's more likely to be a case of someone hearing he's out of the team for some time, and jumping to completely the wrong - and slanderous - conclusion, and then shouting their mouths off without anything to back it up.
Some people just want to think the worst.
And rumours threads aren't about 'freedom of speech', they're about 'freedom to cause discontent'. If there was freedom of speech on here, my message to rumour mongers to ' off' wouldn't get altered by the board filters, would it?
