| Would it not be possible for the club to put on the site a suggestion link?
The fans can then each send off the suggestions they have to bring in more fans and create a sustainable future for the club. The board can then look at these during their meetings and evaluate which are good ideas and which are sinply bonkers. At least they would be reviewed instead of somebody saying "yeah thats a good idea" and forgetting it a day later ,the suggestions would at least be considered.
I have been trawling through the internet looking at how other sports cope with the decreasing attendancies and how they proactively look at new ideas and how best to implement those ideas.
One good one was an american idea of an incentive plan, the fans sign up to the plan and everytime they buy a ticket this is marked down. The incentive is as follows:-
3 tickets bought = free mug
8 tickets bought = free beenie hat
15 tickets bought free hoodie (or polo shirt)
Who do we contact at the club to push for this scheme on the web to make such suggestions?

| I see all suggestions as good suggestions but there is one key problem when you create an open door through out the year and that is resource.
Business's have Long and Short Term Objectives. They look to create Policy to meet these Objectives with the resources that are available to them be it experienced staff, funds but usually a combination of both. The Business then commits to these Policy's in order to meet their Objectives and deviation away from these can be very disruptive and costly. Focus on the main is lost if someone starts to deviate and then unnecassary costs are incurred working on initiatives that are not common goals. When this happens Long term goals often fail. Believe me I have seen this happen.
There is nothing stopping the Club perhaps holding a yearly scheme where they could collate an "opinion Soup" on Short Term Goals but again there has to be the resource there to implement.

| Ok Maybe an open scheme is not the way to go.
How about a Fan survey going out at the end of the season? How was your matchday experience, price of food/drink, purchasing of tickets, atmospere in the ground, what can we do to make this a more pleasurable experience for exisitng and future fans and what prevents you from purchasing a season ticket.
To do this we would need names and addresses of the fans that purchase tickets instead os the season ticket holders.
Feedback from the fans cannot be ignored by our board and the LSV.
