the game in question was played on jan 1st 1984 leigh won 14-12 phil fox got 2 trys n steve donlan got 1 and woody kicked 1 goal the attendance was 4269 and it was also the season the game at oldham got abandoned for the infamous brawl.

the only other time we played wakfield that season was on oct the 2nd at belle view the score was 20-18 to wakefield the attendance was 2426 an the scorrers for leigh were donlan, stradins and woods kicked 5 goals.
