From today, the 597 Leigh Sports Village bus service will run on Sundays from bus Stand M; the stand where the 600 bus leaves. The Sunday service times are from 10:17 till 17:47. It's an half hourly service. It's no longer being run by First Manchester. It's provided by Maytree. It does say on the posters at the bus station, "From Sunday 21st October 2011." Obviously a mistake; unless it's when the bus actually arrives!
On Sunday we were saying you need a bus from the station to LSV on a Sunday, we ended up getting a taxi from town so that we could have more ale time. I've used the first bus in the past when going to buy tickets and there's only ever been us on it!
With a bit of planning that bus really should go from Atherton Station, Hag Fold Station then on to Leigh Bus Station and to the Stadium on Sundays. Maybe even one from Newton Station to the Stadium too.

There was an order being read out while I was at the bar for one of the boxes, it was like 6 x Lager, 2 x guiness, 2 x diet coke and a pint of cider. I'm sure he said it was for box 7.
