Our room at the ibis near the train station last year was a lot better than the one we had on the official trip the 1st year but as matt says it is down 2 luck as 2 the size of room u get.

We're probably booking at the novotel aswell. It has a pool n looks a lot nicer. Just need the refund from ryanair 1st as they said it could take up 2 the end of jan 2 get back

I don't expect any of you will be so misguided, but apart from the Ibis, be careful when booking hotels near the main railway station. After staying at the Ibis in 2009, I decided to cut the budget a bit in 2010, and booked into a very reasonably priced spot on the street round the corner. About an hour after checking in we realised the hotel, which was apparently staffed by some unscrupulous looking North Africans, was doubling as a downmarket brothel. Our sp but functional room, which featured only a bed, coin-op TV and a bathroom that was literally falling to bits, really didn't match up to the photos on the hotels website that contributed to my decision to book there. Sadly, I've forgotten the hotels name, but I wouldn't have gone back there anyway.

well the hotel we stopped in first 2 years was full, so i have booked myself and the old man into ythe ibis, i just can't wait for june.
