Well normally on a match day people are still coming in 15 mins after we start because they insist on turning up 5 mins before kick off.


That is due to the stadium designers spending millions on the ground and ignored the everyday fan. A decent bar facility within the stadium, not just concrete walls and no seats, the fans would be in the ground early, just like the old Mick Martyn bar. Probably the designers had only been to games on freebies so don't see the other half.

That doesn't stop people turning up 15 or 20 minutes prior to kick off, it's their choice to go for a drink prior to the game and they should allocate enough time to do it in.

I agree there should be a better bar for all and a cash turnstile but people know their isn't and still continue to complain when they turn up so late so I've no sympathy. Leigh East is really close so if everyone popped in there who wants a pint I don't see why they can't get into the ground on time.

Surprising how people quickly jump to conclusions, and assume everyone who's late are in the pub, over the years (not to much at LSV) I’ve often turned up missing the first few minutes, because like the reason I’ve asked on this occasion, my kids play and their KO’s plus travel time etc, have clashed with Leigh’s.

This will be the worst though

I may make the second half or I may just stay in the bar!
