As usual the Leigh 'Cyber Mafia' are out in force.
You all seem to have fairly short memories. Im not saying our fans are angels but Leigh as a group of supporters have their fair share of idiots.
The Leigh fans who decided to sing going down, going down decided to stop and do so right at the exit to the ground - they weren't 'leaving the terraces' as one Leigh fan stated. The group concerened were looking for confrontation from the moment they arrived.
The saying those who live in glass houses comes to mind.
Haven94 asked me to make inquiries regarding the unfortunate events of last Sunday.
Security personnel informed two Board members of the incident. Letters have been drafted (and may have already been sent) to both the fan and Featherstone Club. Instructions have been given by the Board to also forward the fan a Whitehaven Shirt.
Any action taken against the individual who was the catalyst for this event will be pending further meeting and investigation by the Board". J.D.Raaz
I rang the Haven club after our incidents their ceo wasn't surprised by what had happened and seemed to know the person we was talking about over both incidents, the bouncer and the guy in the wheelchair. He listened said he'd look into it and obviously didnt do anything, or else it wouldn't have happened again.
lets hope it gets sorted this time.
