it was also on the G.M.R. news that they will play a game next season at a stadium in the north west to see how it goes.

I read it as they just want to play a few games away from Stockport they are investing heavily there and he says they will be definately playing there.
They have looked around the LSV at least twice.

If it's cowd in the winter then they will be at the LSV so makes sense for them to try it out beforehand.

Would not surprise me if it is at Leigh. Good friend of mine who watches Sale says that LSV is top trump at the moment !

You have to nominate a "cold weather ground" in the European competitions in case Edgeley Park isn't playable, and they've put down the LSV, I believe.
