I always check my receipts from Asda and I have been wrongly charged on quite a few occasions. They always correct it when you go to the desk but I wonder how many people never even bother to check if they're getting the deals as advertised?
When I was over charged I was told people shopping see the offers and just dump similar items in the tubs. The next shopper then picks up items out of the tub however they are not on offer. I was then told I should have read the numbers on the bar code to see if they matched. When I told them it was a money making machine for themselves, as people could only be over charged, they seemed to get very snotty.
