Sorry mate but you have a totally different view on Watsons contribution than I have.
Like I have said but for a couple of times when he has been wound up Watson really has done nothing.
I can't recall a game where he has taken a game by the scruff of its neck and put us on the front foot. Look at the other teams in this league and they all have halves that regularly show this ability.

Fair enough mate. Thought Riddy has been excellent these past two weeks, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, but next week is going to be a powderkeg.

Dare I say it, we could do with Watson to share some responsibility at half-back

Under the guidance of Millward, Martin has the potential to be one of the best. His kicking is phenominal, and he has a quick brain. I hope the club keep hold of him.

Agreed. He does show some good touches and, in all fairness to him, this season was meant to be a learning process. Instead he has been thrown in at the deep end and should come out of this better for the experience.
