Millward does want Rowley, well documented when Millward signed.
As for asking Murph to help, sorry and no disrespect to the great man but that was tried a few years ago and we all remember how that turned out (or do we???)
As for todays coaching staff not consulting him I wonder what Murph would have said if back in the 60's they had asked an ex coach to advise him now that would have been treading on a giant ego
Sorry but Murph wasn't a great coach, a great motivator yes but his methods have gone the way of Grammar schools, Railways, Coal Mines, The Cotton Industry and safe driving, all sadly lamented but gone in the myths of time
