Good comp, good idea, wrong time of year.... shoud be a pre Grand Final jamboree.
The RFL will announce its future in due course but regardless, a good experience and I'd guess 700-850 attended on day one with a good 300 there on day two.
The logistics involved in dashing off to the finals at Bloomfield Road were stupid though and I didnt like the fact that no squads were announced and teamsheets were like absolute gold dust!
Good positive publicity for the Panthers which is worth more than any league win.
Not many things to play for in RL these days for the small clubs so well done to a very small club with a good coach for winning one, just wish we'd have gone for "a feel good factor" run at this comp to lift a bit of gloom and boost confidence.
