On a more serious note, it must be possible to develop some joint ticketing initiatives here. (i.e. Swinton would benefit from Leythers watching their home games, and vice versa)

I think we should play the home/away games against The Lions as 'back to back' fixtures over Easter weekend........

Marketed properly by both clubs, it could be the nearest we get to a real 'money spinner' for the season.......unless we get home draw v Pies/Wire/Saints/Smogs in CC at some point after the 4th round!!!!

we may get one or 2 awinton fans coming to our games, so we wouldnt really gain much IMO. They would be the ones that gain because most of the leythers are 2 mins away

I dont really understand your anger Ste , I doubt any floating fans will go to watch them and I'd imagine their sponsorship will be locally ' Swinton ' based

I thinks it a good move, yeah Leigh might not benefit from it but personally I really enjoy watching live games so if I'm not working with nothing to do I'll take a stroll down have a beer or 2 and watch a game. Nothing wrong with that is there?! It wont stop me purchasing my season ticket!!
