Did anyone else read the letter in the League Express about the Crusaders chaiman "employing" the Aussie players to work for his company who in return offered yes offered to turn out for the Crusaders as long as it did'nt clash with their "proper" job at the Dekor factory,what a joke

I also thought that if you were a RL club sponsor and employed a player from that club it counted under the salary cap?

Whatever way it just shows the RFL has and is bending over backwards to give them any advantage, what about Doncaster, and Oldham RFL? do they not require assistance?

The RFL did the same thing a few years ago, letting Bramley go bump whilst pouring money into clubs such as Paris St Germain, the original Gateshead, and Fulham (or whatever they were called at the time).

Im all for expanding the game, but not at the cost of starving the heartlands of money. How many times have the RFL tried to establish the game in South Wales? And at what cost? Many clubs have almost gone to the wall when money that has been wasted in South Wales (and other places), would have been better spent supporting and improving the game in its heartlands.

I agree, expansion is great IF it can be afforded.

To me its a blatent smack in the face its just a big farce,i feel really sorry for the likes of Donny etc who the RFL dont dont seem to care whether they go under or not it makes me sick it really does.

Theres a saying you cant run before you can walk, so how can we expand when we have difficulties arising in the heart lands of the game? Celtic Crusaders should still be playing in our league with Widnes in SL.
