Does anyone remember the Granada documentary about 3 lads on Leigh. They follow them around as they go rabbiting and about their work down the pit. The three lads were Cakey, Enrico and Jimmy and it's fab. It shows all the areas around Leigh, the pits etc.
Anyway I managed to get hold of a copy and you can watch it here - it's a cracker.

| Eeeeh that wur a reet gradely watch that was Mish Mash 
Found the subtitles funny as some of them were incorrect in following the dialect , proper set of characters the lads were .
That ferret didnt want to let go did it , " It's getten it , it's getten it " , aye reet on its @rse an all Lol  |

Have a look at the thread on LL Fred. Enrico died last year but the other two lads are known by posters on the site. I thought that was brilliant, phenomenal innocence. |

| I'm glad you all liked it - I thought it was fantastic. Cakey is my cousin and I remember watching it the first time round though obviously I was barely out of nappies (about 11 actually)
I couldn't believe when I got the copy, it's a treasure. |
