my son had an u16s game tonight at the miners and by the time we got to the south stand 7.40 all the turnstiles were shut.it then took another 10 mins at the top end of the south end for a steward to send us back to the other end of the south stand.in total missed first 20mins.
on way out one young leigh lady very upset by the behaviour of only a hand full of featherstone fans foul language in front off her two young children.turnstiles should open longer than that ,2 other people wre trying to get in as well.great idea to put leigh families in with away supporters everything from top to bottom is totally wrong at the club..everything im k.......d now.

Got to agree would have thought all the family tickets would have been in the west stand with the majorty of the home fans,we ended up sat infront of the d*ck with the drum and a old women with the biggest mouth in yorkshre who saw every offside/high tackle/fwd pass/obstruction/punch that leigh did no matter how far away it was.
It was not my first time but some who got the free tickets probley wouldnt have been impressed with the 'ATMOSPHERE' in the south stand.

The Featherstone fans in the South, took advantage of the family ticket offer.

There was nothing to say that they couldn't.

Why wasn't there?

Discrimination? Postcode Lottery? Ask the RFL. It's their offer.

And on the subject of drums...

as regarding segregation, i thought the north stand would be home supporters only, are the widnes/halifax games gonna be segregated??? you would hope so and y can we not ave segregation and dont come the stewardin issues, stick em in the west stand at the far end as the west stand is always fully stewarded, then south stand for bigger gates. and if ya thought the drummer was bad hows about all the kids with those clapping effergies ha ha

There was 3 turnstiles open till half time last night . one both ends and turnstile 23 .

North stand should be for home fans, the South stand away fans - Simple.
I had to constantly listen to 'deleriously happy' Rovers fans, whilst watching another inept display from Leigh. If i have to watch my team playing awful Rugby, i'd rather just do it surrounded by fellow 'disgruntled' Leythers.
I guess it's just another 'crap' thing about Leigh Centurions/LSV at the moment. Not enjoyed a game yet, well apart from the 'undeserved' win against Haven in the brilliant Northern Rail Cup.

So much for the Rugby League family!! It is not football, we don't need segragation!

Some speccies need segragating from other fans of the same team judging by the falling out between leythers last night
