I have been asked by 4 people if I would be kind enough to pick up their swipe card season tickets up for them this week does anyone know when these will be ready for collection

Season ticket situation is a complete farce. It should have been sorted out a long time ago. If the problem is with LSV a??e should have been kicked a long time ago.

tickets for the haven game will be being sent out tomorrow, withg a accompaning letter to explain whatis going on, this was from the club this afternoon when i rang them.

A thousand and odd first class stamps - that's gonna eat into the profits a bit isn't it?

What happens if you dont recive the ticket due to the royal mail being crap i have posted things first class and sometimes it has taken a week for them to arrive, Would it not have been better for the club to have issued the swipe cards to all the season ticket holders before the london game and then the ticket holder present it to the turnstile operator to check it was valid then let you through the turnstile? They could have used this method till the technology was right for the swipe cards to be used properly and it would have been less hassel for the ticket office staff (who i am not getting at i am sure they have had enough of taking the flak when it is beyond their control and who have always been excelent when i have dealt with them) and less hassel for the ticket holder having to make repeated trips/phone calls to find out what was happening

I for one would have no problem picking the ticket up, rather than the club spending £100's to a number of people who may well not attend i.e. U11's.

And I know some people can't get there till Sunday, and it will cause chaos on sunday afternoon.
Could those who cannot make it beforehand phone the club to arrange delivery???

Its not a farce. Have a bit of patience. If it happens next season, then go ballistic. Read what has been said about all the problems the club have had (and are still having) with the move to LSV. Personally as long as I get into the ground (without paying anymore than my ST payment) to watch the boys, then I am happy. Come on folks give them a break.

Same here. Easiest to wait for them through the post but I'd be happy to save the cost of posting it and pick up our four season tickets.

There can be no excuses,it is a farce,it is typical of Leigh RLFC but one has to say that it comes as no surprise that they have got it all wrong again.Some may say that it is not the clubs fault & ticket/turnstile companies have let them down but I don't recall any problems when BWFC moved from Burnden to the Reebok.
It does show the lack of professionalism that has dogged the club for years & which was eluded to in the report of our rejection by SL
