| League Express also says brown to London is a no go and Warrington expect to partner Austin & Brown in the halves for 2019.

| Well 'The Duck' quacked again.
I said that I've heard nothing about a Brown move only Fbook rumour...
Heard pub talk about no assigned no7 too.
All I go on is talk from club connection.
I mean it's not midday, and the lack of Brown in the new kit is noticeable....but there's quite a few other senior players not endorsing it too.

| Sorry if this is a daft question. A number seem to be stating its about time in regards to less interchanges?
I can not see what the benefit is, wondered if this could be explained ? ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

When I have made the point it is the theory that it would encourage more ball playing forwards of yesteryear, than athletic "robotic" forwards. It would probably also encourage the return of the true loose forward instead of another prop. Also if the forwards were to tire then perhaps we see more breaks through centre field.
At the moment it feels like we are getting quite similar to NFL with forwards who are effectively battering rams with 15-20 min stamina.
Not so long ago a prop forward could play the entire 80 mins.

| I can't see Shaun Johnson coming to SL.
Nhw hasn't achieved a GF win in the NRL yet. Hevmay plum for a big Sydney team. Roosters or South's.

Thank you wires. The return of a ball playing loose would be brilliant.

It also puts in to question the role of interchange hooker. At the moment plenty of teams play the third prop at loose and have 3 big men on the bench to rotate 8, 10 & 13. Also a bench hooker who will come on for a spell. Taking 8,9,10,13 off then putting them back on later in the game uses every substitute spot you will have in 2019 - clearly a risk as injuries (especially head knocks) are commonplace.
I still think we will rotate 8, 10 & 13 through the game, so using 6 subs. Jason Clark will play decent minutes I expect, probs 60+. I can see D Clark playing full 80 more regularly next season, possibly using Walker to give Clark the odd game off to keep him fresh. BMM will get game time spelling the back row, leaving another sub spot to cover injuries. Possibly worth placing Patton on the bench to cover halves / hooker? So bench of Philbin, Tasi, BMM, Patton? Or maybe Livett who can cover centre, halves or back row...

| I'd go 3 props in the front row in scrum attack with 3 more props on the bench and one utility back
I'd play Clark as 13.

| Widdop would be absolutely brilliant, not holding my breath though. I think he would be heading to Leeds if he came over.
Regarding the Clarks, I'd play the one we know is a hooker at hooker and the one who has played most of his career playing loose forward, at loose forward. Keep it simple hey.

Wife and kids there too, seems a funny one. Couldn’t get near his current £570k ($1m AUD) a year contract either.

Leeds were rumoured to be in talks with him before he signed his new extension last time but we’ve no room now as already signed a 1st team halfback and young halfback prospect and we now have 2 marquees already so no way is Widdop coming to us.
If he can get his release he will be signing for you guys
