I was at Wembley and although I went there never expecting a win, the wire fully deserved the win on the day. Can’t get away from the fact saints have been the best team this year, but the arrogance of the vans on redvee before the finally was disgusting and disrespectful and you can see where it all comes from, if the owner of Staines comes out with shat like that.... big ask if we can get to the grand final but that article should be pinned on to the dressing room door no team talk required..I thought Wigan was the team I loved to beat the most but this makes saints look another low level

I happened to be in the lounge where the director's were before the game, the saint's crew came bowling in with the attitude it was a formality that they would win and were so cock-sure it would be a case of how many!

At half time they came in and were calling for the ref to be lynched.

Since when has a death threat been a publicity stunt? Also questioning the integrity of the official is pretty disgraceful. If the RFL had any balls they'd fine old bacon face.

They've done pretty well when Hicks has been ref, winning 75% of the time.

Their last 10 matches with Hicks as ref they've won 60%.

Expect yet more bitter posts about Chris Hicks from WA9 to WA11.

Reading some of the comments on RedVee combined with fish faces diatribe leads me to question the quality of the drinking water over there.

I think they're now officially trying to detract from our success. It's beyond sour grapes and completely at odds with the spirit of rugby league..of any sport. They may want to think about the two routes to the final our respective clubs took and then have a think about who were truly worthy winnersb of the 2019 challenge cup and just get on with it. They're really letting themselves down.

McManus' rantings make St Helens look like a small minded club, who just can't accept defeat, and the accusations against Warrington and Hicks are staggering.
First the Saint Helens Star report, now this in the programme notes. Had he just congratulated Warrington and then corresponded with the RFL, privately, then he wouldn't look such a childishly sore loser.
I'm so happy that Simon Moran and Simon Middleton don't behave in this way.

I think Saints should be able to select their own ref. It’s unfair that since Wilkin left they haven’t been allowed to do so.
