There was actually a picture of Briers in Panama Jacks the night before a game, drinking VK Orange posted on this forum a while ago but the picture was deleted.

Ok then when exactly was it you saw him what was he drinking? Where?

I have seen him "represent" the club at a number of functions in a surly, disinterested, unprofessional and sulky manner. I have overheard his conversations with his pals from Hattons (relating to getting tatered after the game and being dismissive of his role with regards to his player appearance to sponsors) which dissapointed me. I also have a family friend involved in the dressing room on matchdays whose opinion I trust. Finally he holds a criminal conviction for drink driving which I think speaks volumes about his character.

Lets wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

When = before a game, after a game, pre-season, off-season.

Where = Wigan, Toms 101, Panama Jacks, Darli Bar.

Drink = VK Orange, Shots, Lager, Jaegermiser.

Also buying creates of beer from Bargin Booze in Padgate but this proves nothing.

Nobody is saying Briers is perfect - but I find the fact some people are ignoring his on field contribution over the last 10 years, like he has barely provided any value at all, grossly unfair.

As for Monas, one thing we he should be applauded for is his effort - he really does give of his all every minute he is on the field for us.

Problem is Lefty is that whenever someone posts information on Brier's supporting the alleged drinking/unprofessionalism issue, it gets removed from the board. I feel that even if it was proved irrefutably that you would not accept what is obvious to so many of us.
