I think after the Easter games is a good point to review how good, bad or indifferent we are. Fingers crossed its positive.

We also have to see if we have developed grit and resolve when things are not going our way etc.

I think Huddersfield will be a stern test. They've got an established squad and a good coach who proved to be one of the top sides last season, so I think we'll get a better picture on Friday. I'm certain it'll be a close game, though we'll have to address the 2nd row issue (as someone mentioned) as Huddersfield have quality in this position.

I hear too that spaces on coaches are going fast - hopefully a good sign that fans are (understandably) feeling more enthused than last last season.

The club aren`t running any coaches to Away games this season, and that is probably why other people that still are, will see a bigger demand.

I understand that last season with the team`s poor performances, that the uptake for the club`s coaches would have diminished considerably, and for some games I have been told they were half empty.

However, a lot of young fans start attending away games by travelling by coach, and they are the fans of the future. (I started this way)

The club need to rethink their strategy.

We’ve fallen a little lucky I think playing Hudds away in their first game of the year. They will be a big step up from Leeds I think and will certainly not employ this ‘passive defence’ thing that Leeds seem to be trialling. They have a good pack, will be interesting to see the head to head.

I'm nothing special when it comes to predictions, but it hardly takes Nostradamus to predict that a coach with a good track record has a high chance of improving things when he has a settled squad who know the expectations, and are on board collectively with the objectives set by the coach.

I hope this winning and playing well run continues and that by the Easter period it will be obvious that we have turned a corner under Powell. Signs are promising but I'm conscious it's 2 games, and we were 3 from 3 last season and yet 2 weeks later we were getting beaten at home by Wakefield.

I agree, though the 3 games last year felt like they posed more questions than they answered (Cas @ home aside maybe). This years 2 performances seem to be answering some tough questions.

As you say though, long way to go and I think we'll have a better idea of things by 10pm on 20th April, after just playing Saints, and having played Hull FC (H), Catalan (A), Wigan (H) in the weeks previous.

Can’t grumble at anything so far, remarkable turnaround. Especially without supposedly our best forward recruit.

Nobody needed a fast start more than Warrington this year, it could have turned nasty without it. An extended run now of really winnable games taking us through to Catalan away.

I’m still a bit annoyed at seeing all of this propaganda about reconnecting with the fans like it’s somehow the supporters fault. The mismanagement that has allowed 2022 to happen and for it to be justifiable is still yet unanswered, unless we’re putting it all at the feet of Price, which seems a stretch,

2 matches in and it looks promising.
Let's see those who said that make that call in a months time.

Last season was horrible for anyone who loves the club, emotions run high. The bottom club Toulouse were actually playing better than us at a crucial time, although I said at the time I had faith in DP and agreed with Gazwire it so nearly went T up. Lets all move on and enjoy this season, fingers crossed of course

I remember thinking, reading, and writing on here, that we should be winning 4+ of the opening games. Failure to do so should trigger a change. I see no controversy in that and I stand by my opinion.

Yes, April will be a massive indicator for our season.

My only gripe of the opening two rounds is probably Dufty, not so much his performances, more I'm not sure we have utilised him enough, but hopefully that will come with game time.

We'll hopefully have all the troops available for those last 4 fixtures.

I can honestly say no. Winning 3 or less of these games below, when taken in the context of this being Powell's 2nd season in charge and the signings made, would be enough to justify a change of head coach in my view.
