The key is, if Johnson turned up and watched a match then fine, you just do what you do, but the club went out of their way to use a hospital visit to get a photo op with a man who is highly divisive at the very least, especially in the north.

To be fair to moran, he's an extremely shy bloke who would never get involved in this type of publicity stunt. Middleton on the other hand, is the exact opposite.

Johnson turns up at places, 3 or 4 times a day. PMs do this. It's routine. I've not seen this as either good or bad publicity for the club. It's chip paper, now, anyway
