Smith and Atkins to miss out.

Would normally of put Atkins straight back in but T.King as done very little wrong and Atkins as been out a few weeks. Wonder how hard it would of been had he been able to use Thompson.

I think they will be a formidable challenge for us, especially if we have BMM injured.

I'm going for a Wire win. Tight for the first half but fairly comfortable at the end when frustration penalties add to the woes.

The team should be well aware of what is going to come at them from the start, surviving the initial rush is the big job. SC is right, a win for Catalans would be historic and I hope they win the Cup (but not against us).

Their gameplan will be exactly as it was in the semi : come flying out of the blocks, put us on the back foot, profit from the inevitable penalties as we try to stop their momentum, kick us to death via Drinkwater and sap our energy.

First 20 mins will be pivotal and go along way to deciding the outcome. If we front up and match their aggression I'd expect pur greater experience and stamina to pull through - we have, after all, had 24 hrs greater recovery time.

Good kicking game in the first twenty, I would look to keep the ball in play as much as possible so they don't get opportunities to jog into position and then hit us with fast, powerful sets up the middle.

If they get on top, DO NOT PANIC like Saints did and concede a bucketload of tries before the break. If we are getting clobbered, then it is time to slow the game down and regroup. We will get chances and field position.

I have complete faith in the rugby ability of this side; it is what is between the ears that worries me. We can be really naïve at times and compound errors with errors. Watching the 2012 final back last night we had an embarrassment of riches: Hodgson, Briers, Monaghan, Higham. More nous than any side arguably even needs.

Can Ratchford, Clark, Brown provide that this year? I hope so.

Good luck wire. I haven't bought into the Catalans bandwagon. I like the way you play when you don't over play. Goodwin is a class act and Clark can destroy any side. I think the wire will be louder than the daft neutrals supporting Catalans. Lol at them making out it will be as bigger upset as 98, utterly clueless. 34 14 wire.

This, don't give their big pack cheap field position, complete sets and make sure they have got to go a long way with each set. They're very good at making ground.
