because leeds will bring more than catalan and hull.... and warrington will bring loads... just like last year.

That would partly be to do with huddersfield only selling 6 tickets

to be fair tho they must of took more than catalan did in 2007 lol but saying that it was the 1st final at wembley in ages so that was obviously gonna be a near sellout whoever we face though leeds or saints it will be over 80k

well id say catalans took less than hudds soo we must have taken alot too, id expect a more packed stadium and better atmosphere at saints v wire, than leeds v wire!

Saying that i would prefer saints i agree would be a better atmosphere

i did my research and the attendance for our 2007 final was 8000 more than your final 2009
im not trying to start an arguement im just saying saints v warrington would be much better atmosphere, more packed stadium (possibly sell out) and a better game

A Leeds v Wire final would have more of a chance of selling out than Saints v Wire. Leeds have a far bigger fan base.

Wire v Saints all the way. I go the CC Final weekend with saints fans and the banter will be fantastic.

First final back at Wembley may well have had an influence on the attendance and a lot more neutrals turnng up to show support for catalan.

2008 I would guess Hull will have matched saints support or even more.

As far as Leeds they along with Wigan would bring the most support to a Wembley final, just my opinion.

well what did you want us to do?force huddersfield to sell more tickets,as someone already said we sold 27000,we couldnt influence the attendance anymore than that cept make everyone in warrington buy a ticket,then onlt to have people calling everyone glory fans.

I can see a final against Saints being a generally bad experience. People say there will be good 'banter' but good banter was what we had pre and post match against Huddersfield, it won't be like that with Saints, they will be coming to Wembley to laugh at the Wire getting beat again, every time they score a try Wembley will echo with "W-ky W-ky Warrington!" Then as we are walking out of the ground there will be all of the once-a-year Saints brigade tanked up rubbing it in our faces. A few of our fans especially the chav youth brigade, who have been tanked up on beer themselves, and are angry that we have lost, won't take kindly to being wound up and they will take a bit of direct action.

There will be a few scuffles and stewards/police involved and then after the game when we look on the forum, the main topic of discussion for the week after the final won't be the game, it will be whose fans were more scum, fans of other clubs having their tenpenneth telling us "thats why I could never support Warrington in a final, there fans are a disgrace", Wiganers showing solidarity with Saints saying thats why they supported Saints and so on.

After reading Sally Cinnamon's post and giving it a bit of thought I now want Saints in the final.

Saints took about 15,000 to old trafford and made no noise what so ever. I know, I was sat with them.

Leeds took easily 30k and made loads of noise.

Wire v Leeds final for me.

Have to agree with Odemwingie for once. I won hospitallity tickets in the Saints end (Stretford end) and there was about 15k as Odem said and made very little noise what so ever and when they did it was only because they had scored. Leeds however, the opposite end was full and all you could hear were Leeds fans.

Is that the casual in you coming out,for one last hurrah.

dont care who we get in the final if its leeds then they bring more so it be good atmosphere and if its saints the rivalry will make it good atmosphere
