Lowes possesses no idea of what the Warrington public actually demand from the team...When a fellow comes out and declares himself happy with the side, even though they have just been humiliated by an injury hit Wakefield side, then you know you have major problems.

If Lowes actually looked like he had an idea of how to get a performance from our side, or if there was even a glimmer of hope to arise from the present situation, then I can guarantee you that the majority of Wire fans would give Lowes support...unfortunately, the guy gives the impression of being a stranger in town, who simply doesn't give a toss for what the club means to thousands of people, who have contributed thousands of pounds over the years, to actually give these guys the privilige to both play and coach our beloved club.

Is there anyone out there who is deluded enough to continue to support Lowes and believes that he has what it takes to even be a coach never mind the coach of our team?

I actually feel sorry for Lowes if he is still in charge come the Leeds game as he is going to recieve some nasty abuse I think at that game, not from me of course.

Unless some miracle happens, I can see the Leeds game getting particularly nasty for Lowes AND the players.

The supporters are beginning to see through the side for what they are...mainly under acheiving mercenaries, who don't give a jot for the club in general.

Once Leeds begin to run away with it, be prepared for the bad athmosphere to descend on the ground!!

The blame should be put squarely on those upstairs for making an absolutle balls up of the appointment in the first place. They need to go as well as Lowes.

Strange how you didn't think every supporter was a numpty in 2002 / 2003 when with very little money a squad was assembled that we all knew would struggle and we backed them to the hilt. Some of the best atmospheres i have experienced where in those 2 seasons when there was very little optimism in what the team would realistically be able to do.

Season before last we played Leeds with mainly youngsters out and got beat by 40 odd points but again they where backed to the hilt.

The current problems have been created by the board who have assembled on paper a world class side but have given them to much power to the point where they are dictating what the coach can and can't do. We realise that isn't all players but there are a few who are stopping this club progressing, you can see from the past 3 games that Jimmy Lowes doesnt have the players backing no matter how much they come out in the press and say that he does, he may have the support of some but not all.

The players will always take the brunt of the supporters feelings because they are the ones out on the park but most of us realise most of them are not at fault, most go in and do as they are told but they all should and those that aren't are letting the club down.

You will have a different view as you are looking at it from a similar view of the players, not all supporters are numptys who don't have a clue what is going on and spout rubbish though I accept that we have a few and some of them are on here.

Be careful not to bite the hand that feeds, it will eventually give up and stop laying out as we are already seeing and don't tar everyone with the same brush, a point I think you are guilty of at the moment.

I agree with Geordie on this. The board appointed Jimmy on the basis of 4 (I think) wins after Paul Cullen left. This time is always a honeymoon period and the players are always looking to impress a new coach in charge. Liverpool apart in the 70's & 80's the process of promoting from within the club has rarely been a fruitful one. The step up from assistant to first team coach is a massive one.

The farcical appointment is the real reason why we are now in this position. We should have bided our time in the appointment and waited until the end of the season as was the original plan.

The blame in my opinion should firmly be placed at the feet of the board!

Bit of a myth that my friend. That team had plenty of experience in it and I was staggered that people were so chuffed and backed the team after a stuffing.
