Think we will go up a few gears next week against Saints we usually always play well against them no matter how bad we have been playing.

i hope its the case mate, sounds like we were playing well today, yet silly mistakes around the try line, possibly still ironing out a few nerves, managed to make the game a tight one! and also our defence will need to improve by next week!

i guarantee the boys will play better in the saints game coming off of a win, than they would have done had we been beaten in that one!

To be fair, they have been great games over the last few season and still can't get my head around how wolves didn't win some of them games.

Good luck against Saints, but seriously I'm hoping for a tight entertaining game they have been great fixtures in the past few season hopefully theres more of the same next week.

If we play like that against saints we will get mullered. We look well off the pace of the better sides in the league.

Alibert (and more his assistants) where equally bad for both sides, (saw the Briscoe try on SL show

) but I think its the ones right in front of you that rankle the most. Towards the end when we were really under the cosh, wire kicked through and the attacker knocked on, we then cleared it behind, this was about 2 yards in front of the in goal judge (who I've decided his only job is to pass the touch judges a bottle of water). He gives a drop out. Small decision but it would have relieved the pressure.

On the whole I'm reasonably happy with the result, just a shame when we could have held on, but if we can cut out giving head starts away it looks good for the season.

Out of interest which are "the better sides in the league" you are referring to?

Wigan,saints and leeds.

I think all the above showed areas of poor play at Millenium. Saints looked pretty clueness apart from Roby whilst Wigan allowed a pretty clueless Saints team scrape a draw.

Leeds look ok against a poor Hull team on Friday but should have lost against Bradford the week before. I haven't had the benefit of seeing Wigan and Saints perform this weekend so cannot make an informed judgement.

But all played better than warrington.
