Didn't watch it. Were Salford impressive or were saints just gash?

Salford were very impressive, against a Robyless sorry side.

I think we can say that Sts were gash and Salford were organised and followed a game plan, which they didn't when Rangi Chase played.

Sts without Walmsley would have been very sorry indeed, no Roby no clue by that standard. Wilkin was appalling and why they got Jack Owens is a complete mystery to me he is really not up to Sts standard.

Watched it on TV not a great game as Sts were so poor let's hope Salford can progress on that not sure what depth they have but well done.

It looked like Wilkin caused the little spat between Walsh and Murdock nothing in it just a little hand to the face but Murdock must have thought it was Walsh, who was left standing there as in shock a bit like Shaggy, "it wasn't me" being the highlight, good to see GOB doing well.

Mortgage the stadium if needs be and get Luke Walsh signed up for the Wire....He's fearless going forward, a brick wall in defence plus he's a wonderful kicker of the ball....Not a bad looking babe magnet as well.

I didn't see the game but would be pleased if GOB does well (apart from against us). I've not been on their board, but, GOB didn't half get a tattering for their lacklustre performance v Hull.....it was all is fault apparently.

When you say "you", I hadn't realised that you were standing next to me listening to me slagging the lad off? BTW, I think that GOB on balance had plenty of support from this forum and on the terraces, he certainly did from me.

I think that it is fair to say we were generally hoping that he was going to make it and come good, but, for what ever reason he didn't at Warrington and when he signed for you he went with my best wishes. We certainly didn't write him off after one game. I suppose it's all about expectations though and your club's might have changed in a week?

I really enjoyed seeing saints get tonked. They were woeful, but can't take anything away from Salford. They fully deserved it, and their new halfback (Nui?) was great.
As Cunningham said, Saints lost it before the kick off. Poor attitude. Players thought it would be a walkover.
I wonder where the issue lies? Coaching team or players?

terrible game.. not one piece of skill on show... real dire stuff.

bentham gives a no try on a decision that looked like a try on the field.... video ref has no choice but to turn it down really as it still looked 50/50 on the video.... try should have been called onfield with video ref to prove it wasn't IMO...

wigan then go and score a try from what looked like a double knock on and possibly offside.... no video ref used.

that non try video replay was the highlight of a truly awful game... 2 teams with about as much creativity as a bucket of píss.

Of course you can try and kick it, but what happens if you try but completely miss the ball, kick the opposition player instead and as a result probably stop the try from being scored? I would have thought that should have been a Huddersfield penalty at the least.
