Wigan got the rub of the green at Wembley, it couldnt have gone better for them. We all saw it and we all know it. From the antics of Tomkins to the dopey reffing, it all went their way.

They tend to be a club that gets more than their fair share of the rub. But as the best defence and best attack team of Wire should be able to use up all Wigan's luck.

Interesting reading Smiths comments on the mini pre season training the players had with the week off.

Get the feeling he's quite happy to of had this time to prepare for the run in and play-offs, after all nobody knows what it takes to win a Grand Final more then he does.

A complete non-entity of a game?. Hang on. A trophy (however insignificant it is, in the great scheme of things) is up for grabs, which will then go on to play a part in who has home advantage in the play-off game, when we meet.

Then you go on to say you think we'll get beat by Hull (who have had their 5 games of form, earlier on in the season). If we can't beat mid-table opposition in Hull, then we have no right to be contesting Grand Finals.

Just a couple of quick questions for you, Colin.

Agreed, Goldie. The League Leader's Shield would be great to win. It shows we are the best team over 27 rounds.

This game is the most important game for us this season. More important than the QFN more important than at widnes, more important than last game in france. We need a good run in and I want the super league trophy.

Win this weekend and we are almost nailewd on to go 2-1 up in terms of trophies this year with wigan and after that we are perfectly placed to go 3-1 up.
